drawn to the worn, the weathered, the indeterminate, the eccentric -
along a street, around a corner, down an alley, through a window, against a door...
in this frivolous city floating above the north pacific coast, I record the savage states of neglected streets, ambiguous buildings, exuberant eviscerations -
and always find unexpected complacencies, even early on some sunday mornings...
